Group Class Descriptions:

Preschool Intro to Musical Theatre (ages 3 and 4):  This 45-minute weekly class is designed to get perschoolers singing and dancing — and crafting — with a musical theatre theme. This class encourages movement and age-appropriate developmental tasks, including learning pitch and basic music memorization.

Mini Musical Theatre (ages 5 to 7): This 45-minute weekly class teaches students the basics of performing in a specific musical theatre stage show, by learning songs and dances for the end-of-semester performance.

Musical Theatre Performance (ages 8 to 12): This 60-minute weekly class teaches the skills needed to audition for and prepare a musical. Students perform the semester’s show in the last week of class, including costumes and full tracks for singing.

Improv Class, ages 10 to 18: This 60-minute weekly class teaches students the basics of improvisation, including improv games and longer-form content.

Teen Acting Techniques (non musical), ages 13 to 18: This 60-minute weekly class allows teens to explore acting activities that do not include singing or dancing, including monologue work, auditioning technique and character development.

Teen Acting and Audition Prep (musical focus), ages 13 to 18: This 60-minute weekly class helps set teens up for success in the auditioning and performing world, with focus on skills in both areas — with a focus on musical theatre.

Teen Actors’ Conservatory (audition or invitation required), ages 13 to 18: This 60-minute weekly class gives participants a chance to work on elevated material and receive teacher and peer feedback to improve performance.
